ABOUT LISA
Lisa lives in the coastal woods above Monterey, California. Surrounded by the changing colors and moods of the ocean and forest, birds, bunnies, and deer that make their homes there, and the endless treasures found beside the sea, her view of the world inspires her art. Her work gives voice to the joy and beauty she finds in nature.

Watercolor is her natural and most expressive medium, which she combines with inks, acrylics, sticks, shells and her iMac. Her eye is informed by her training in both architectural and graphic design and is drawn to repetition, form, line and color.

Favorite things include her two sons, ocean, birds, sky, changing light, joy in the moment, getting as wet as possible on beach walks, collecting bits of nature, finding beauty in tiny things and her cat, Mila.
